Fork servo arm with precise gearing. The high torque of modern digital servos must be transmitted smoothly and without play to the actuated element (e.g., rudder).
The new design of the fork servo arms is engineered for extreme loads. The force is transmitted centrally to the servo spline.
The fork arm design effectively prevents jamming of the servo output. Servo gears will last longer. The servo arms are made of highly compacted carbon fiber composite. At 300 °C and under high pressure, the arms are formed in hardened stainless steel molds.
Since this process is similar to the manufacturing of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, it was adopted for the production of the servo arms.
The result is a high-strength component that can compete with duralumin. However, it is lighter and more vibration-resistant.
All servo arms are manufactured in Germany on state-of-the-art CNC machines.
