38mm Fork Servo Arm for JR Servos, 1 pc
The distance from the servo output to the ball joint center is 38mm, and the fork opening is 6mm. The product comes with a pre-installed ball joint, part no. 993021. To ensure that the high torque of modern digital servos is transmitted to the controlled element (e.g., rudder) smoothly and without play, this new design of the fork servo arm has been engineered for extreme loads. Power transmission occurs centrally to the servo gearing; the fork lever design effectively prevents the servo output from tilting. The servo arms are manufactured from highly compressed carbon fiber plastic. At 300°C and under high pressure, the arms are shaped in hardened stainless steel molds. As this process is similar to the manufacturing of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, it has been adopted for the production of these servo arms. The result is a high-strength component that can stand comparison with duralumin, yet it is lighter and more vibration-resistant. All servo arms are manufactured in Germany on state-of-the-art CNC machines.
