38mm Fork Servo Arm for JR Servos, 1 pc.
The distance from the servo output to the ball joint center is 38mm, and the fork opening is 6mm. It is supplied with the ball joint item no. 993021 already installed. To ensure that the high torque of modern digital servos is transmitted smoothly and without play to the controlled element (e.g., rudder), this new design of the fork servo arm has been designed for extreme loads. The power is transmitted centrally to the servo gearing; the fork arm design effectively prevents the servo output from jamming. The servo arms are made from highly compacted carbon fiber plastic. The arms are molded into hardened stainless steel forms at 300°C and under high pressure. Since this process is similar to the production of highly stressed components in large aircraft construction, it has been adopted for the production of these servo arms. The result is a high-strength component that can withstand comparison with duralumin. However, it is lighter and more vibration-resistant. All servo arms are manufactured in Germany on state-of-the-art CNC machines.
