The fuselage of the model is made of high-strength EPO foam (extruded polyolefin) with fixed internal carbon fiber reinforcements. The C3548-750 brushless electric motor with an 11x8-inch folding propeller and a KAVAN R-50SB controller with a powerful BEC, which is required for powering 4 strong micro servos on board, is installed in the nose. The canopy is removable and secured at the front with a pin and at the rear with a magnet. Under the canopy, there is enough space for a drive battery and a receiver. The rudder and elevator servos are located in the tail, and the rudders are controlled by short, straight linkages.

The wing of the model, made of EPO foam, is a two-piece design with carbon fiber tubes, whose extended parts also serve as wing connectors and fit into the duralumin housings in the fuselage. The wing halves are secured with a plastic screw. The ailerons spanning the entire length of the wing (reinforced with carbon fiber tubes) are independently controlled by two servos with short, straight wire linkages.

The tail unit is also made of EPO foam with carbon fiber tube reinforcements. The horizontal stabilizer is attached to the fuselage with two screws and is easy to assemble and disassemble.

The model is powered by the C3548-750 class brushless motor with the 50 A KAVAN R-50SB controller.

For power supply, you will need a 4-cell LiPo pack with a capacity of 2200–2700 mAh and a minimum discharge rate of 30C.

Ideally, you should use a 6-channel computer RC set that allows independent control of ailerons by two servos and a mix for the airbrake. In this case, both ailerons move upwards. If so, the Y-cable for the ailerons in the fuselage must be replaced by two individual (15–30 cm) extension cables. The instructions, of course, also include a detailed table with a proven standard setting for the control throws (including mixers), so you can easily prepare your Swift S-1 for flight.
