The fuse module prevents a short circuit at the receiver that can be caused by a defective servo or similar. The module is simply plugged in between the receiver and the servo. If the fuse trips due to excessive current draw, the current is reduced to approx. 300 mA, not completely shut off! If the current to the servo returns to normal, the fuse resets. This means that if the cause was, for example, just a jammed retracting landing gear, the servo can continue to operate as long as it is not defective.
