In 1962, Eugen Hänle founded Glasflügel Segelflugzeugbau GmbH, which soon became known as the first large-scale manufacturer of fiberglass laminate gliders. Their products have always been characterized by innovative solutions - from simple disassembly of the wing and tailplane, to control systems with flaps and brakes, to practical cockpit design - all of which are still commonly used in gliders today. After the tragic death of Eugen Hänle in a plane crash in 1975, the company ran into difficulties and was finally closed in 1982.

In the mid-1990s, the young Czech company HPH (which had already established itself as a manufacturer of museum-quality model aircraft) resumed production of one of Glasflügel's newest gliders - the 304 model. Great machines from the Central Bohemian town of Kutná Hora flew all over the world. First the HPH 304CZ model, which was produced using original molds and tools. Later, the modernized 15-meter FAI Class HPH 304C Wasp model. Then in 2006, a brand new single-seat 18-meter HPH 304S Shark model was introduced, and in 2017, the two-seat 20-meter HPH 304TS Twin Shark model.
And now you can enjoy flying the semi-scale version of this beautiful glider with a 2700mm wingspan, powered by a powerful brushless motor!

The model's fuselage is made of highly durable EPO foam (extruded polyolefin) with solid internal carbon fiber reinforcements. The C3548-750 brushless electric motor with an 11x8-inch folding propeller and a KAVAN R-50SB controller with its powerful BEC, which is required for powering 6 servos on board, is installed in the nose. The canopy is removable and is fastened at the front with a pin and at the rear with a magnet. Under the canopy, you will find enough space for a drive battery and the receiver. The rudder and elevator servos are located in the fin, and the control surfaces are controlled by short, straight linkages.

The model's EPO foam wing is two-part with carbon fiber spars, whose extended parts also serve as wing connectors and fit into duralumin housings in the fuselage. The wing halves are secured with a plastic screw. The ailerons and flaps (both reinforced with carbon fiber tubes) are each independently controlled by a servo with short, straight wire linkages.

The tail unit is also made of EPO foam with carbon fiber tube reinforcements. The horizontal stabilizer is attached to the vertical stabilizer with two screws and is easy to assemble and disassemble.

The model is powered by the C3548-750 brushless motor with the 50A KAVAN R-50SB ESC.

A lightweight foam wheel with landing gear doors can be attached to the lower fuselage part. To protect the lower fuselage part, you can also glue on a plastic protector, the thermoformed part of which is supplied with the model (cut it out along the pre-made contour and glue it to the fuselage, e.g., with double-sided tape).
